The short version
We use privacy-conscious analytics to understand aggregate use of the website, such as pages visited and how readers arrive here. We do not use advertising pixels, accounts or behavioural profiles for anonymous visitors.

Our analytics provider processes limited technical and usage information, including pages viewed, referring URLs, browser and device details, and an anonymous visitor identifier. It helps us understand which reporting and practical guides are useful.
If you email us, your message is handled by the email providers involved in delivering it. We use your address only to reply or to fulfil the request you made.

Articles link to external websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices and may collect information when you visit them.
